New Directions Licensed Behavior Analysis, P.C. (New Directions ABA)
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit newdirectionsabanyc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
If you are a patient, or the parent or guardian of a patient: health information we keep about your child as part of their care is protected by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices. To get a copy, call us at (718) 207-0959 or email [email protected].
PLEASE DON'T SEND HEALTH INFORMATION THROUGH THIS WEBSITE
Our contact form is only for getting in touch. Please don't include your child's name, date of birth, diagnosis, insurance member ID, or other medical information in the form or in an email to us.
If your family decides to start services, we collect your child's information through a secure intake packet that we send you after our first phone call.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, your child's age, your ZIP code, and your insurance plan name. We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, diagnosis, insurance member ID, or any medical information on our website. We also collect what you tell us if you email or call us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site collects some information automatically when you visit, such as your device type, browser, and general location (city or region), the pages you view and the site that sent you here, and your IP address. This information is collected by cookies and similar tools from our website host and the services listed below. We use it to run the site and to understand how families find it. We do not use it to identify you personally.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the contact information you send us to call or email you back about our ABA services or job openings, answer your questions, check your insurance benefits for ABA (only after you ask us to by phone, or once your family starts intake), and improve our website.
We do not sell your personal information. We don't rent or trade it, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
COOKIES AND WEBSITE SERVICES
Our website is built and hosted by UENI. UENI runs the site and its contact form and uses cookies to make the site work. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to us through UENI. UENI's own privacy policy is at https://www.ueni.com/en-us/privacy.
Our site uses Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form to block spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).
Our site also loads Google Tag Manager, which UENI installed as part of its website platform. We do not run our own analytics tools on this site.
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which helps keep it secure and fast.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as well.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on our website.
WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and respond to you: UENI (website hosting and contact form), Google (spam protection on the contact form), and Cloudflare (website security and delivery). These providers may process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or to protect our rights.
HOW WE CONTACT YOU
We contact families by phone and email only. We do not send text messages.
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and then we delete them, no longer than 12 months after we receive them.
If your child becomes a patient, their records are kept as the law requires and are covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Only staff who need form messages to respond to you can see them. No website is 100% secure, so please don't send health information through the website.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This website is meant for parents, guardians, job applicants, and other adults. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information through this website, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
YOUR CHOICES
Stop emails: tell us at any time and we will stop.
See, correct, or delete your information: email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. Records that are part of a patient's care are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, and some must be kept by law.
Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
